Symposium Summary
The two-day International Sympoisum consists of a series of distinguished lectures presented by world renowned paediatric dermatologists. Each lecture topic discussed the utmost forefronts of dermatology research and clinical experience. Our keynote speaker is Professor Albert YAN from the Chief of Department of Pediatric Dermatology, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the world famous leader in paediatric dermatology, the editor of the book "Harper's Textbook of Pediatric Dermatology" and on the board of various eminent pediatric dermatology journals and societies. Dr. Marius RADEMAKER is the Clinical Director & Head of Department of Waikato District Health Board, Hamilton, New Zealand. He has extensive experience in various continents and is now the Chair of National Paediatric Dermatology Review of New Zealand. Dr. Thomas SCHOPF, Senior Advisor and Researcher of the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine, comes from the world's largest centre for research and development in telemedicine and e-health. Dr. XU Zi-gang is the Chief Physician of Paediatric Dermatology, Beijing Children's Hospital and has more than two decades of experience in pediatric dermatology in China.
The Symposium recorded a great success on the number of attendants. Over 100 attendants joined the mega event, which was comprised of both private and public sector medical professionals not only from varying specialties, but also originating from different cities in Asia such as Macao and Shenzhen. The symposium also attracted non‐medical doctors such as young professionals, allied health professionals as well as technical industry staff such as biomedical engineers, etc.
The event also recorded positive feedback and favorable comments greatly in appreciation of the informative value of the lectures, as well as of the efficiency and supportiveness of symposium staff.
