Abstract:

Scars and Keloids are common and could be resulted from accidents, surgeries, and non-accidental injuries. Some of them could be severely pruritic and disfiguring, which significantly affect patients' quality of life. However, treatment of these lesions may be challenging.

Prof Har-Shai is extensively involved in the management and research of hypertrophic scars and keloids for 20 years. As an investor, he has developed the novel  FDA- approved intralesional cryosurgery technology to benefit patients.

In this workshop, Prof Har-Shai will give us a general overview and update on the prevention and management of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
